Ever wondered what’s behind The Nat’s gallery walls? Join us Friday, July 28th for a behind-the-scenes tour at the San Diego Natural History Museum. Director of Research Library & Archives, Ariel Hammond, will lead a private tour through collections areas normally closed to the public for an up-close look at the work that goes into caring for rare books, bugs, and bones. The tour will run from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, followed by rooftop access for Nat at Night!
Space is limited – 30 reservations available.
Tour starts at 4:00pm sharp–Meet inside The Nat’s SOUTH Entrance (near the big fountain).

PARKING + PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The NAT is located on the corner of Park Blvd. and Village Place in Balboa Park. This event meets ADA standards, including accessible entrance with an ADA compliant ramp. ADA access is located at the SOUTH entrance, near the fountain. There are accessible restrooms and seating inside. Dogs and service animals are welcome. LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space. ALL AGES are welcome to attend!
