Abril holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from San Diego State University. She has been employed by the San Diego Museum of Art as a Visitor Relations Associate for over a year now. Before her role at SDMA, Abril interned with a local art gallery, The Front Arte y Cultura, where she worked with South Bay and Tijuana artists to promote arts and culture and improve the lives of San Ysidro residents. Abril is passionate about art and making art accessible to everyone. Her main goals are to work in a museum under the community engagement sector or curatorial department.
