Discover the secrets and symbols of Balboa Park! This one-hour walking tour will be guided by our park expert–the former director of Balboa Park Central, David Kinney. It is a place of beauty and culture, with a rich history. Come learn the stories behind the intricate architecture, landscaping, and greenery that make up the largest urban cultural park in the country.
Please meet us at 5:20pm in the Plaza de California, in front of the Museum of Us. The tour concludes with drinks and discussion at the ARTIFACT restaurant in Mingei.

About David Kinney
David Kinney is retired after over 30 years working in Balboa Park, most recently as the Executive Director of Balboa Park Central. He has served as chair of both the Balboa Park Committee and the Parks and Recreation Board. He currently serves on the boards of Forever Balboa Park and the Timken Museum of Art.
