Call for New Board Members!

Hey Fellow EMPs!

Our San Diego EMP chapter is looking for 4-5 new board members to join our team. We are looking for talented, passionate museum-minded folks willing to commit their time and energy to connecting our museum community! You’ll have the opportunity to join our Marketing & Communications Committee, Outreach & Advocacy Committee, or Programming & Events Committee. We are seeking diverse voices throughout the museum field. If you’re ready to take your passion for museums and leadership skills to the next level, the SDEMP Board is for you!

For your convenience we have provided more information on these committees below.

Marketing & Communication. Members of this committee focus on promoting our monthly programs to the right audience including creating graphics, email communication, social media posts and more.

Outreach & Advocacy. Members of this committee focus on accessibility, compiling resources, creating partnerships, and facilitating mentorships.

Programming & Events. Members of this committee coordinate and work out logistics for our fun monthly events and assist with set-up/take down on the day of.
