July 12 | 6 – 8 PM | San Diego Chinese Historical Museum
After: Drinks & discussion at The Whiskey House
Join the San Diego Emerging Museum Professionals for a special tour of the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum’s galleries, including a fresh look at a local political, economic, and cultural legend in their newest exhibit, “Unseen Portrait: The Art of Tom Hom”. The program will focus specifically on the involvement of the local Asian community in the opening of the museum. We hope you get inspired to think about the relationships in your community, and how we can continue to build spaces for connection and change. The tour will run approximately one hour.
Afterwards, we adjourn to The Whiskey House, located directly behind the museum at 420 3rd Ave between Island Ave & J St for drinks and conversation.
Parking: There is metered street parking, along with paid lots. Fred Shuttles and public transit are also available. Click here for more information.
